Interns at LAWACTH are instrumental in facilitating discussions on current events and foreign affairs with influential thought leaders in Los Angeles and from around the world. The internship program offers practical professional office experience at a non-profit membership organization focused on international affairs. The staff at LAWACTH is responsible for providing membership benefits for over 1300 members across the greater Los Angeles region in the form of high-level events, discussions and conferences. Interns will be mentored 1-on-1 by a LAWACTH staff member and will receive other profession development opportunities over the course of the intern program
All interns are unpaid, interns must qualify to receive school credit. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all internships are currently remote.

The Communications & Social Media Intern will work directly with our Marketing and Communications Team. Intern will develop insight into crafting brand strategies and marketing plans for online forums focused on domestic and international politics, as well as other major initiatives.
